The Glory Netflix New Korean Web Series Season 1 Episode 7 Recap And Review

The Glory Season 1 Episode 7 Recap

Episode 7 of "Glory" begins with Yeo-jung finishing up the little details for her new clinic. She remembers the night Dong-eu opened up to her. Dong-eun tells him that she is interested in Do-young. He wants to make sure Yeon-jin wants to be alone until he gets his revenge.

He gave Dong-eun the password to his apartment and asks him to visit whenever he wants and move on the Go board in his house. She'll know he's visiting and that she's okay even if he doesn't answer her calls and texts.

Elsewhere, Do-young looks through old photos of Yeon-jin, trying to find out more about her relationships with her high school friends. He asks her if she talks to Jae-joon or Myeong-Oh often. He replies that he is not close with Myeong Oh and asks if he was threatened.

Do-young finds her answer suspicious and says that when Myeong Oh brought up, all his friends gave the same answer. Yeon-jin checks her recent visits and sees Jae-joo visiting the golf club.

Hyun-nam continues her work and visits the shaman where Yeon-jin and her mother usually go. The meeting does not give him any important information. Later, he helps Dong-eun find out the true motive of the men who are following him and trying to extort money.

He tracks them down after collecting money from Dong-eun and learning that they work for a police chief who is close to Yeon-jin's family. Dong-eun begins to think that Myeong Oh might have something to do with her disappearance. He tells Hyun-nam that if Myeong Oh is really dead, it would be in their best interest to discover his body first.

Myeong remembers the deal she made with Oh. He had to get a confession from Yeon-jin that he killed So-hee. Unfortunately, he disappeared before receiving this confession. He thinks Yeon-jin killed Myeong-Oh after she threatened to reveal that he was So-hee's killer.

When Yeo-jung is discharged from the hospital, her mother stays behind to take care of the daily chores. He is currently in prison and sends Yeo-jung taunting letters explaining how he enjoyed killing her father.

Yeo-jung still carries a lot of anger and pain from this devastating loss, and sometimes stabs the killer to death.

Dong-eun arranges a meeting with Sa Ra at her father's church to collect the money he demands. Sa Ra tells him that he has already repented because he has God on his side. Dong-eun taunts him, saying that he hopes he will go to heaven because he made his life hell. Sa Ra tries to ask what he means by that and what he's planning, but Dong-eun leaves without answering.

Dong-eun takes Hyun-nam to the assessment test and tells her that since he can't tutor her anymore, he plans to get her to study in the US. He plans to use the money Sa Ra gave him.

Meanwhile, Do-young learns from Ha Ye Sol that her teacher went to high school with Yeon-jin. She is more interested in finding out more about Ha Ye Sol's teacher and promises to attend her father's class event.

He's not the only one wondering, but Jae-joon worries about what kind of person Do-young is and tries to get information from Hye-jeong as she puts on her wedding dress. Hye-jeong tells him that she's a beautiful son of a bitch, and you have to look closely to know her.

Hye-jeong also has concerns, after the damaging photos she received from Myeong Oh. He decides to check out his apartment and runs into Sa Ra who has the same idea. Sa Ra finds her drugs, but Hye-jeong doesn't get an answer.

Sa Ra shows him the plane ticket and says that Myeong Oh was planning to go but she's missing. They report this to Yeon-Jin, who asks her to report the matter to the police if they are concerned. He and Myeong Oh discuss their recent conversation and Yeon-jin leaves, he tries to play it cool but she's clearly shaken.

He calls his lawyer and asks to meet to discuss how he can reclaim Ha Ye Sol's rights as his father. The lawyer explains to him that unless the couple in question divorces, he has no chance of being recognized as the father.

Later, he meets Yeon-jin and chokes her with anger when she talks to him about Ha Ye Sol. Although Yeon-jin is shocked, she distracts him with sex to calm him down.

While Jae-joon plots to get his daughter back, Hye-jong tries to win over her future mother-in-law. This proves to be a bit difficult as he meets Mrs. Dong-eun. He hoped that Dong-eun would be his bride and he can't stand Hye-jeong. Hye-jeong realizes that she is in deep trouble and asks to speak with Dong-eun.

At the end of the episode, there is a dad event in Ha Ye Sol's classroom, and both Do-young and Jae-joon attend. Jae-joon pretends to have come to visit Dong-eun, whom he refers to as an old high school friend. Do-young is shocked to see that Dong-eun is the teacher in question. It doesn't help that he tries to get under Jae-joo's skin with his insulting comments.

  Episode Review

We still don't know who killed Myeong Oh, but we also have to ask ourselves if he is dead. His body should have been revealed by now, but we'll have to wait and see if it will be revealed in the next episode.

I was expecting a more angry confrontation between Jae-joon and Yeon-jin. I wonder if Jae-joon is angry about not having paternity rights, or if he feels like something was taken from him. I think he has an ego more than being a father.

There's also the question of whether Do-young will fight the arrest; honestly, he's a better father than Jae-joon. Finally, what should Hye-jong say to Dong-eun? We have to wait and find out!
